“A few years ago, I was in conversation with Junlin, the designer behind the upcycled fashion label Fagg0tr0n, about producing a shoot featuring an all-gay Asian cast. We landed on a sports theme, inspired by the noticeable lack of representation of gay Asian men—not just in sports culture, but within queer culture at large. Naturally, we also find uniforms undeniably sexy. The shoot became a playful, thotty collage of sports gear, uniforms, and settings—blurring the lines between athleticism and desire. We photographed Cody, Sammy, and You in various parks throughout Ridgewood, Queens, as well as on the sands of Jacob Riis Beach.” – Photographer and Creative Director Brian Vu
