I’ve been to a lot of New York Fashion Week shows, presentations, and parties in my 15 year career in media, and probably my favorite and most innovative experience in the last 10 years was Twink Next Door’s September 9th runway at Dallas BBQ Chelsea.
Featuring a crowd of hundreds dressed as creatively as the runway models, chicken wings, frozen margs, more photographers than a red carpet film premiere, and cocktail servers dashing in between models, the energy of the show was alive, and represents the best of New York Fashion Week: jaw-dropping new fashion from an up-and-coming designer that was unapologetically queer through and through.
