Raised on fearless pop icons and drawn early to performance as a place of freedom and expression, Vella’s journey has been anything but ordinary. From his early training in musical theatre to a career spanning touring productions, the West End, and feature films, the artist has gradually evolved toward a more personal creative path—one defined by songwriting, production, and authentic storytelling.

Vella describes his sound as “sultry dance pop”—music designed to move listeners physically while lingering emotionally. At its core, his work blends high-energy electronic production with introspective lyricism, creating a space where vulnerability and empowerment coexist.

The EP’s title, My Divine Chaos, reflects Vella’s belief that chaos is often the birthplace of growth. The project captures moments of internal conflict, thoughts once softened to protect others, and emotions that previously felt unsafe to express. Through the music, those tensions are transformed into something shared and empowering.

For Vella, the act of creating and the act of embracing identity are deeply intertwined. The EP explores themes of self-ownership and honesty, highlighting the courage it takes to both express oneself creatively and live openly in one’s truth.

Leading the release is the focus track “Coronation,” a dark, bass-driven electronic dance pop anthem that showcases the artist’s dynamic vocal range. The song begins with breathy, introspective verses before building into commanding belts and ultimately transitioning into a spoken Maltese passage confronting perception and identity.

Inspired by the sonic influence of artists like The Weeknd, Anitta, and Madison Beer, “Coronation” explores the realization that people often see you through decisions they’ve already made about you—and flips that idea into a declaration of self-rule and empowerment. The track culminates in a chaotic electronic finale that reflects the EP’s central message: growth often comes from embracing the messiness of becoming who you truly are.
