The Iconic Brand Celebrates Milestone with New Pride Capsule Launch During LGBTQ+ History Month

Chubbies, the men’s lifestyle brand known for the resurgence of short shorts, is proud to announce a major milestone: Foundation43, the brand’s nonprofit arm supporting mental health and suicide prevention, has officially surpassed $1 million in donations since its founding in 2019. These funds have supported organizations like The Trevor ProjectThe Mental Health Coalition, and other nonprofits expanding access to care and crisis support, with a focus on underserved and LGBTQ+ communities.

To mark this moment, Chubbies has released an announcement video featuring all four of the brand’s co-founders, who also serve on the Foundation43 board. In the video, which debuted today to commemorate World Mental Health Day, the founders reflect on Foundation43’s purpose, the community that fuels it, and a call to check in with yourself and those around you.

In celebration of both LGBTQ+ History Month and National Coming Out Day (10/11), Chubbies is also unveiling its newest Pride capsule: The Sparklers of Joy. Designed by Chubbies Pride Creative Director Ryan Sagawa, the limited-edition two-piece collection features a symbolic print inspired by Ryan’s coming-out journey. As with every Pride launch, $5 from each piece sold will benefit Foundation43 and its LGBTQ+ mental health initiatives.
