Much like Christina Aguilera in the early 2000’s, Willy Chavarria isn’t afraid to get dirty.
Take his latest underwear collection as proof. The Dirty Briefs and Dirty Boxer Briefs take center stage in legendary photographer Marco Ovando’s latest shoot for the Calvin Klein Senior VP of Design’s eponymous label.
Chavarria launched his brand in 2015, and is no stranger to raw male sexuality. In fact, the designer showed his Spring/Summer collection at the infamous (and often sticky) New York leather bar, The Eagle. Chavarria also puts people of color at the forefront of his collections, a refreshing reprieve from the stranglehold white, gay men have over the tiny sliver of pop-culture queer people managed to attain.
With this latest underwear collection, you’ll fit right in at a cruising bar. The ripped garments play with an athletic masculine fantasy without trying to hide their inherent queerness. These models bare all in the photo shoot. It’s hard staying cool with some of their piercing eyes hitting the camera as if to say “get over here.”
This collection is packed with grade-A studs, and if we’re lucky these designer underwear are as packed as they look.
