Hotels Above Par—the independent media brand dedicated to boutique hotels—officially debuted Vol. 02 of its print magazine and unveiled its quarterly newspaper press debut at an invite-only launch event held last night at Warren Street Hotel in Tribeca. The evening brought together editors, tastemakers, subscribers, and longtime collaborators for an intimate celebration of the brand’s continued expansion into print.

The launch was made possible in partnership with Safara, Cassette, and Memphis Tourism, whose collective support helped bring Vol. 02 from page to room. Set against Warren Street Hotel’s design-forward Tribeca backdrop, the evening featured cocktails, curated bites, and a soundtrack programmed by Cassette, the music curation agency known for shaping sonic identities across the world’s leading hospitality brands. Guests were also given first access to a limited run of HAP merchandise, available to subscribers ahead of broader release.

The night marked two milestones for Hotels Above Par: the arrival of Vol. 02 of its flagship print magazine and the press debut of its newspaper—an extension of the brand’s commitment to physical, design-led storytelling in an increasingly digital travel media landscape.

“Vol. 02 and our newspaper are officially alive,” said Brandon Berkson, Founder of Hotels Above Par. “Launching them inside Warren Street Hotel, surrounded by the people who built this with us, is exactly the moment we envisioned when we started Hotels Above Par. A quarterly newspaper is something no one in travel media is doing right now, and we’re proud to be reviving a storied format for a new generation of readers.”

Hotels Above Par extends its thanks to Warren Street Hotel, Safara, Cassette, Memphis Tourism, and the subscribers and contributors who continue to champion the publication.
