As the days grow longer and the sun shines brighter not only is it time to swap out your winter wardrobe but your fragrances as well! There’s nothing better than not just dressing like you’re the next guest at a White Lotus Resort but smelling luxe, fresh, and relaxed like them too. The right fragrance can capture the perfect moment for every warm day endeavor whether it’s going to the beach, relaxing in Central Park, or a fun night at your favorite bar. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of the best summer time fragrances to keep you smelling as fresh as the season feels!
If your favourite season of White Lotus is season two then you will absolutely love Tom Ford’s iconic Costa Azzurra Eau de Parfum. One spritz instantly transports you to breezy and vibrant Italian Coastlines. With salty amber and driftwood accord it perfectly captures the sensuality of a morning stroll along the Sardinian coast line, while the notes of citrus, cypress, and fresh aromatics still maintain a warm and inviting tone. It’s the perfect fragrance for a calm day at the beach or a romantic morning stroll. Tom Ford’s Costa Azzurra is one fragrance that will always be at the beach with me.
Now we can’t mention Italy and fragrances in the same breath without mentioning Valentino, arguably one of the most well known Italian fashion houses, home to many of my favorite fragrances as well. For summer the first one that comes to mind is their new Donna Born in Roma Green Stravaganza Eau de Parfum. This is technically the “women’s version” as the men also have one known as the Valentino green cologne but I feel that fragrances don’t really have a gender and this just presents as a bit more fresh and lighter in comparison. Upon the first smell you’ll notice the fresh and calming aroma of Lapsang tea. This is followed by breathtaking floral facets and wrapped up by the perfect subtle hint of vanilla. If there was ever a fragrance that captured the perfect summer morning strolling through a lush park it’s this one!
The best part of summer however is always the vacation. Whether it’s Fire Island, Provincetown, South Beach or somewhere lax and tropical there’s no better feeling than getting away from home to feel the salty ocean air on your skin. That’s why I can’t forget to mention the perfect scent simply titled “Vacation Eau de Toilette” by Vacation. This fragrance instantly brings me back to my first memories on the beach as a kid with a scent that I describe as “Sunscreen smell but in the best way possible”. This may be a more niche favorite of mine but the light, refreshing, subtle banana scent of Sun Bum Sunscreen gives a refreshing and youthful vibe to any beach day fit or picture perfect moment.
And last, but certainly not least is the Noyz Love Club Eau de Parfum. Noyz may be a newer brand but their fragrances certainly last all day or night! My favorite for a warm night whether it’s walking on the beach or at a chic rooftop is the Noyz Love Club Eau de Parfum. It’s the perfect mixture of light florals and sharp spice to match most any moment of your summer adventure while eliciting an alluring aroma inviting anyone around you for a closer look. With sultry Turkish Pink Rose, subtle floral Saffron, and sublime Ebony Wood this fragrance is my go-to for a night out at the hottest bar or a romantic evening that lasts from beginning to end!
