So.Gay has an inside look at a new Fire Island-set photo campaign from Can’t Afford Him – the new lifestyle brand created by founders Dennis Chimeri and Joe Bongiorni.

Can’t Afford Him is a community of ambition and assertiveness. For those who demand more from life, embrace their confidence without apology, and most importantly, realize that peaking in high school was never for them. Wearing Can’t Afford Him showcases your commitment to living life on your terms and determining your own future. It’s a lifestyle that embodies a relentless pursuit of personal happiness and a bold, uncompromising attitude.

Although the brand has a website and Instagram presence, currently the products are only available for purchase in-person. On the strategy, brand co-founder Joe Bongiorni says, “For the first stage of Can’t Afford Him, we intentionally planned for in-person sales only, prompted within our website when a person inquires to buy. This tactic to build a community with an in-person purchase, allows for conversations and the ability to find common ground with like minded people of New York City. Whether it’s in an elevated or casual setting accompanied by classic cocktails, coffee, or a quick chat, we don’t believe in compromising quality in any aspect.”
