Asante Madrigal is an entertainment host, red carpet correspondent, and creator reaching more than 2 million followers across platforms. He is the creator and host of Hyperfixating with Asante, currently filming its second season.
As an LGBTQ+ host with Black and Mexican heritage, Asante brings a perspective shaped by culture, identity, and a nontraditional path into entertainment media. Originally studying journalism with dreams of becoming a news anchor, Asante pivoted during the pandemic when TikTok unexpectedly became his newsroom. Since then, he has built a multi-platform media career spanning celebrity interviews, digital storytelling, and cultural commentary.
When Asante asked us if we wanted to exclusively accompany him for his pre-VMAs photoshoot in Los Angeles, we couldn’t resist. Jeremy James styled Asante for the VIP event, and Rue Nunez captured the stunning look.
