The Ali Forney Center, the nation’s leading organization dedicated to protecting and empowering LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness, hosted its annual A Place at the Table Gala last night at The Glasshouse in New York City. The evening celebrated the resilience of LGBTQ+ youth while honoring advocates, artists, and changemakers helping create a more inclusive and supportive future for the community.

Throughout the night, guests gathered for a seated dinner alongside moving storytelling, impactful speeches, and unforgettable performances that highlighted the importance of affirming care and resources for LGBTQ+ youth. The gala also served as one of the organization’s biggest fundraising moments of the year, raising more than $3 million in support of the Ali Forney Center’s mission to provide life-saving services to LGBTQ+ young people experiencing homelessness.

Among the evening’s honorees were Taylor and Liev Schreiber, as well as Chappell Roan, who each received Luminary Awards recognizing their continued contributions to and advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community. Gia Love was also presented with the Ali Forney Award for her impact and dedication to uplifting queer voices and visibility.

The star-studded event welcomed a number of notable LGBTQ+ voices, creatives, and allies including actor Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan, The Perfect Couple) alongside wife Taylor Schreiber, actress Tommy Dorfman (13 Reasons Why), filmmaker Celine Song, Olympic athlete Gus Kenworthy, model and creative Richie Shazam, Peloton trainer and influencer Matty Maggiacomo, and RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Peppermint, Olivia Lux, and Plasma, who hosted the evening.

As the night came to a close, the gala stood as a powerful reminder of the importance of community, visibility, and continued support for LGBTQ+ youth — ensuring that more young people have access to safety, housing, and a future filled with opportunity.
