Brazilian superstar, and proud bisexual, Pedro Sampaio continues his international rise with the release of “G-LATINA,” a new collaboration with Mexican rapper El Bogueto, one of the biggest Latin artists in the world right now. Alongside the release of the single, the Rio-born DJ and producer has also announced a global tour with multiple sold-out dates across Europe and North America.

PEDRO SAMPAIO, El Bogueto - G-LATINA

“G-LATINA” brings together some of the biggest forces in Latin and global pop songwriting and production, including collaborators who have worked on hits for Bad Bunny, Karol G, and Rauw Alejandro.

For Sampaio, the collaboration with El Bogueto came naturally.

“Collaborating with El Bogueto on ‘G-Latina’ was great because, during the process, I discovered a common ground between our ways of making music. This track has an irreverence and a chaotic energy that is very Brazilian, very much me, but also very much him, you know?” Pedro shares.

The track is a high-energy cultural fusion that blends Brazilian funk’s frenetic basslines with salsa rhythms and elements of global pop, creating a sound designed to ignite dance floors worldwide.

Sampaio handled the music production alongside the collective Subelo NEO, a group known for major hits like Bad Bunny’s “Me Porto Bonito” and “Yo Perreo Sola,” Anitta’s “Envolver,” Karol G’s “EL MAQUINON,” and Rauw Alejandro’s “RON COLA.” Brazilian producer Pedro Breder, who previously worked with Sampaio on the hit “JETSKI,” also contributed to the track’s production.

The same team helped craft the lyrics alongside El Bogueto himself. The track opens with playful, party-ready lines:

“Yo, come to the party, it’s getting hot / The girl’s letting loose ’cause the DJ’s killing it.”

Meanwhile, El Bogueto’s verse reinforces his connection to Brazil and Latin culture:

“From Tepito to Rocinha / I hit your block and the girl calls me / I move to Rio, make you my neighbor / She knows what’s coming—drop the funk and she gets wild.”

Sampaio says the song is designed to transcend language.

“Music is a universal language, and I use it to my advantage. ‘G-LATINA’ is sung in Spanish, but you don’t need to understand the words to feel that it’s an upbeat track that makes you want to dance, move, and let loose,” he explains.

“The song’s sound, lyrics, and visuals all carry that energy, no matter the language. That’s something I always focus on when creating music for a global audience. The goal is to be inclusive and close cultural gaps.”

While the track expands into Latin and global pop territory, Sampaio remains rooted in his Brazilian identity. The music video was filmed in Rocinha, one of Rio de Janeiro’s most iconic neighborhoods.

“Our idea for this video was to celebrate the festive spirit and sense of community that we Brazilians share with Latin cultures,” he explains.

The single arrives shortly after what was the biggest Carnival of Pedro Sampaio’s career, driven by the massive success of his hit “JETSKI.”

The track reached #1 in Brazil and Portugal and #36 on Spotify’s Global chart, prompting Sampaio to release a remix with Argentine superstar Emilia. That version is currently among the most streamed songs in Argentina and Uruguay.
