So.Gay partners with Cripple Media, the first-ever media company run by and for disabled people, to bring intersectional content and experiences to the newest and fastest growing LGBTQ+ platform

In a brand new partnership, So.Gay, the newest and fastest-growing LGBTQ+ media culture brand, is partnering with Cripple Media, the first-ever media company where young disabled creatives shift the lens disabled people are viewed — into something more honest, accurate, impactful, and youthful.

The strategic partnership will allow So.Gay to syndicate Cripple Media’s content onto So.Gay, bringing the transformative media company’s intersectional content onto So.Gay’s rapidly growing platform with millions of monthly readers. The two media organizations will also partner on editorial and advertising programs, and in-person and virtual experiences.

With editorial stories including both ‘What does it mean to ‘come out’ as gay and disabled’ and ‘How to become a disability advocate’, Cripple Media and So.Gay will reach millions of more Gen Z and Millennial consumers combined, across platforms.

“Cripple Media is a revolutionary platform that is so authentically aligned to our mission at So.Gay: a community taking up more space via media and reclaiming the narrative,” says So.Gay Founder and CEO Alex Hughes. “I am so proud to do this partnership. Emily has created such a fantastic platform for the disabled community, and this first-of-its-kind partnership will allow So.Gay’s significant queer media platform to share content and expose millions of more users to Cripple Media’s premium journalism, and open up new opportunities for advertisers to engage with these incredibly valuable audiences.”

“Being able to partner with So.Gay is not only thrilling because it creates a partnership between two outlets who are so deeply aligned in values, but also because it sends a vital message to the media industry,” Emily Flores says, CEO and founder of Cripple Media. “This partnership says: diverse communities are inextricably linked, and the stories of one, are truly the stories of all. I am excited to create meaningful opportunities for brands to connect with these key audiences.”
